Wrapped in the quietude of my dreams
Visions of a couple swaying gently in time
To whispered lullabies of lover’s songs
Soft caresses upon silken flesh quivering
Silhouettes cast from the sunsets amber glow
Bodies pressed together as seamless as one
Languishing looks of longing into loves eyes
Can feel the beating of two hearts as one
Breathless kisses brushed across soft lips
A little voice inside me keeps calling out your name
Andrew, Andrew are you dreaming of me too
Please let this sleep go on forever
Don’t let me wake to the harsh light of life
Just let me dream a little longer
A single hot tear escapes to drop on my pillow
Never going to sleep another night without dreams of you
It is so sweet and indirectly moving. 'tis the kind of poem that brings your mind, subconciously, back to the one person you can never ease your mind of ... even if it's not the person you've married. This is beautiful and wonderful, a poem that should be shared with the world, for love is drindling away in this world :) I comend this poem. Great write :)
One of the most beautiful pieces I have read in a long time. Remember the old saying "Dont cy because they are gone,Smile because they were in your life"All the best Sage
