It's the inner heart that I see.
It's looking back at me.
It doesn't have a name or a face.
It just is.
One can search till infinity, trying
to identify it.
It flows through us and surrounds us.
It's a dream like state, fuzzy and unclear.
You believe in your heart that if you wish
it, it will be so.
Close your eyes, touch your inner heart.
Bring your thoughts to life in the haze.
When you open your eyes, it will be so.
It's amazing, it's unreal, to believe it
would be folly.
Behold the fantasy in all its glory.
The cloudy white coat, long Lustrous mane.
It's whimsical long horn and bright intelligent
eyes, coming to you with a knowing prance.
It nears, close enough for you to extend your
hand and touch it lighty, timidly.
The touch sends a jolt of lightening up your
fingers and into your inner heart.
Suddenly you can hear its thoughts and
feel its unhappiness and displeasure.
It is a female, she is sad because we
as humans no longer believe in the magic.
We no longer feel the excitement as we did
when we were children.
She says that in order to feel and hear the
inner heart we must believe it is there.
That is why we are always looking and
never finding.
Believe it, it is real, like the Unicorn,
its magic surrounds and protects and can
be unbelievable.
Imagine with your heart as well as with your
eyes says the Unicorn, to find the inner
heart, you must.
Like the way she came, she goes.
Lifting the haze from my eyes, and low,
there I see it before me and in me.
My inner heart has been found out
of the fantasy.
