I watched a gentle butterfly

Gliding on the air

Tasting nectar from each flower

She visited with such care

She drank her fill at each stop

Just enough to taste its wonder

Before moving on

Another one to plunder

I wanted to be that butterfly

To feel the wind beneath my wings

To listen to the summer breeze

And the joyous song it sings

But that is not to be I fear

For human form I wear

And with that body comes

A lifetime of worldly care

But maybe in another time

Or in another place

I will be a butterfly

And the summer breezes grace.

verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry beautiful Bobbi. For many years I have chased the bright elusive butterfly of love, only to find it, and have it fly away again. Butterflies are free, gliding on wind currents when their wings get tired. I only wish I could be that free. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, and joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY SISTWERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little den sister, Barbie

Butterflies seem to have invaded the Den of late; or perhaps I am oversensitive to them because Mirajolie loves them. A lovely poem, Bobbi. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis
