Consider a printed butterfly
As it spreads its wings for you and I
Its beauty not revealed in hues
But in sharing other’s written views
With only words turning forest green
A mountain white or lake serene
Imagination freed, emotion’s touch
The writer’s gift reveals so much
A child’s cry or mother’s tear
Joyful laughter or utter fear
Sunset’s image on golden pond
A fairy‘s twinkling magic wand
History future current past
Mysteries marvel memories last
Our little mascot has its ways
Of brightening each of all our days
What’s black and white and read all over
An origami butterfly on printed clover
Upon literary nectar it seeks to feast
Then spreads its prose from west to east

WHO WROTE THIS FOR YOU???? EILEEN????
Well, I'm kidding about that, but only slightly. This really seems to take you to a whole new level.... Or maybe it's just the wine I've been sipping on.
I really do like this one, big fella. Dick
