So damned sad that so many today don't see the worth and the love, in every animal, unless something extraordinary happens to them. The same thing recently happened to a dog in Georgia who survived the gas chamber, and has now been adopted. The dozens of dead dogs lying next to him were not as lucky.

Adopt, Adopt, Please! - I shout it every day, but very few listen. And my poem today 'In Memory of Ace' is about a dog that deserved to live, but was so heartlessly put down.

Glad Andrea's story had a happy ending! I would adopt a kitty, but where I live: NO cats. Dogs, birds, etc. OKAY, but NO cats. :( (WHAT THE TRUCK??) (Owner of apt. complex HATES cats.)

Our cat, Gizzmo had nearly as harrowing of an experience before she adopted us. No wonder they have nine lives. Nice one Patrick.
