Sometimes we need to take a hard look at ourselves, in a kind way. |

So many waters have rolled past me
like a never ending flow
sometimes I feel I wish
oh how I wish
when I ponder
on what I let go.
I try to smile
it lasts for awhile
too soon it disappears,
for the what I let go
was of more value to me
than they maybe
will ever know.
Not the right time
this is the wrong place to be
yet in this moment of uncertainty
I could have stayed
not turned
let go,
for now I wish I had
all those years ago
the reflections keep comming back
as if to haunt me
tire me out
fill my head with sadness,
all about
what I let go
what I let
go,
and they may never ever know.
