THE TRAGIC LOSS of YESTERDAY

A reflection on our yesterdays, for some a loss that they would love to recapture.

*The tragic loss* *of yesterday* *remains upon my heart* *for way back there* *I use to be* *now I feel so torn apart.* *What can I do* *but ponder* *gloss over photographs* *talk of memories,* *the tragic loss* *of yesterday* *it has become a part of me.* *It was there I was a kid* *how fresh it all appears* *then when I kind of grasp it* *in dissolves* *just disappears.* *So now* *before all is lost* *I haste to write it all* *in my words* *recall all those days* *that have been lost,* *maybe forever* *within a book* *those days* *they may remain.*

I've learned through tragic losses, twice and not about to go through a 3rd tragic loss. I look forward to better days ahead though, but as of now - boring

Time goes on relentlessly and if we don't think it important, our yesterdays are all gone and lost in memory. But if we write them down, the memory may linger longer and we will have known accomplishment� Something that is quite priceless, whether it be past or future.
