It never ever came into my thoughts

life just rolled on and on,

I never thought that life could be

so sad

have so much control over me

now its all gone wrong.

One minute you are there

the next

nowhere

it is over

how can life be so cruel.

I always thought I stood tall

could take whatever was thrown at me,

now look at me

so small

fallen to pieces

in tears

asking God how can this be.

Why did you go

why did'nt I know

what was to be.

no more the tidy way you laid things out

no more the holding hands

no more the kiss

I never knew life would be like this
