In life you find some people who just do not hear you, look right through you.
When you talk
and no one hears
as if your voice
has lost it's decibals
making silent
incantations.
Hello
goodbye
who are you
no one blinks an eye
look right through you.
It maybe
they are deaf by choice
exempting themselves
plain rude
what else?
At least they did not disguise
who they are
next time you will not
be surprised,
their designer label sits quite clear
just like washing
on a line
they hang themselves
out to dry.

The only caveat I would have is that life today is quite complicated and distracting. We sometimes equate arrogance with distraction. I know that my mind focuses on things to the point where it seems like I don't pay attention or have empathy when someone is trying to get my attention. It's a human failing.
But then, there are those who believe they are above being common and communicating with common people because of their assumed education and/or wealth and social standing. These people certainly don't have time for you or me.
