I looked for you...

with every new line

praying...your silence

was but for a time

Even when your quiet...spread wide

and your voice still was not heard

I yet refused...the sun down tide

Then, yesterday...the sure word came

and I had to sup the sorrow laden platter...extinguishing

completely...hope's flame

Ah...but, you're there...with Him...in eternity

for, so many times, your works spoke of this reality

You're there where your lines and rhymes are gently pampered by angels wings

where your phrases are born...and learn to weep and sing

You are there in the safety of His arms

experiencing the peace...of unearthly beginnings

seeing, so clear at last, the beauty of your imaginings

How I do miss you, my dear friend

but...dare I rain on the rewards of faith's end?

No...this is not a bidding of adieu

for with every inspired breeze that flows from  those sweet celestial's shores... where one day we will meet
