Everyday I wake up I wanna wake up in his delight, I want the sun to rise, shine and come in correct.
I wanna wake up to the fresh air of freedom and I wanna catch the world singing and living humble, praising him and living in his fellowship.
I wanna dream that this world will be alright, but, my eyes burn seeing all this terror, I wanna dream that this world will be alright.
Standing there I see a child, but, really I see all this hate, and I wake up with every inch of my body in full pain and yes, I still ache.
I'm shaking and praying because I know somebody's got to do it, I just wish that we could all pray so one day we'd all wake up to the sun shining bright with our hearts spiritually in his delight. Maybe the sun would shine, rise and come correct, but it's our footsteps that aren't in tune that causes us to be the problem amongst our own mankind.
I wanna dream, and wake up in his delight, see the sun shine bright, see the stars at night, I wanna see the steps walk in fellowship, I want his people to all live free, and tongues to stop the hate, but maybe their choosing a fate that's destined to make them late, late for his delight.
Still, I am that dreamer, in a world where dreams used to come true , and I wanna dream that they still do, and yes I will still dream, but it is when I wake up and I'm living in his delight with the sun rising, shining and still coming in so correct that I know his dream will come true , soon.
Everyday I wake up I wanna wake up in his delight, I want the sun to rise, shine and come in correct.
I wanna dream that this world will be alright, but, my eyes burn seeing all this terror, I wanna dream that this world will be alright.
Remembering in my mind, standing there it was a child, but it was truly the whole family that woke up, had plates, but nothing to put on those plates.
I wanna dream and every night I dream, and yet I still see all this hate, but still I dream.
