"Crossfire Of Emotions"

My busy heart

That shudders as I think back

As I punish myself in anger

Pulling my fingers aggressively through my knotted hair

Why did I wake up from this beautiful dream?

Caught in a crossfire of emotions

Walking beneath the beautiful blue sky

Hand in hand

With you who really care

Drained from anger deep within

Telling me

It’s okay to have faith

Images of you mocking me

Shifting my thoughts to words light

Face turned

To look at the sun

That dissolves fifty odd years of sadness instantly

Oh why did I wake?

From this beautiful dream

Now caught in a crossfire of emotions

Shall I run to the ocean so blue

Or sleep till the day I die

Or shall I live a lie

Or will I return to my beautiful dream

As I lay my head down

Upon warm sand

Of my favorite place

The Beach

The beach is your sanctuary and you always
return to it for consolement. Why not
Sad but hope is there.

Keep Dreaming on Your Beloved Beach - because many dreams do come true, Tinka - if we continue to believe.

Listen to wise Emeka. You awoke from the dream so that it could be made manifest in reality. To do that, you must bring it to yourself Tinka. It has to come from you. Keep dreaming, girlfriend...Big Hug!

Tinka,
You do not need to live a lie.
Your day of joy will come
Reality will be made manifest
As the rain of your love begin to fall.

Great write!

Crossfire. Bullseye. Tarket practice on the heart. Careful.

Tinka,

And you are caught in the cross hairs of your emotions--painful to read, please take care and keep writing--some of your best work is when you just put pen to paper and take off, raw honesty at its peak.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :(
