Ode To My Trusted Friends

One two I love you

Three four close the door

Five six play no tricks

Seven eight keep it straight

Nine ten at Authors den

Eleven twelve lets not delve

Let us all pray for each other’ health

To cope with vanity or insanity

Let our pens do the talking

As our hearts do the stalking

Listen to my words today

My dear friends

Even though you impregnate my mind

Bad to the bone or nutty heart

You are still good company

With who ever your heart might be today

Just toss me a salute and wish me luck

From afar where ever you are

Because to me

Good friends

We will forever be

Tossing you many salutes, Tinky, especially for this lovely piece and accompanying delightful music - and may all the luck in the world find you soon!

PS. Love that picture, too.

Combing this piece with "Chason d'Amour" was clever and fun. Thank you for the smile.
