“Why Oh Why”

Why does my heart feel so numb today?

Is it because I miss you?
Why does my body feel so bad?

Is it because I am still alive?
Why does the ocean have so much power over me?

Is it because the sun still shines so bright?
Why does everything new look so familiar to me?

Still keeps on moving without you here
Why does my eyes see you?

But I am blinded by peppered tears
Why does my heart cry for you so deep inside?
Why can’t I touch you?

But I can see you
Why do I really love you?
Why oh why does the sun still shine?
Why does the bird still sing along?
Why do I feel so sad inside?
Why do I cry…?
Why do I go on?
Is it because the birds still sing to me? 
Or is it because love died
And I am still alive?
When will my tears run dry?
If I don’t even want to try
Why oh why do I still go on?
Is it because I can’t reach your heart?
And we still very much apart!!
Is that  the reason…

Why I still breathe?
