Heart On Fire

My heart in not in good order
It has gone into Void
I am entering
This lonely empty space
Your love
Is like a scalpel at my throat
Consider this my love… I am tired
Look inside of me
Your fire can ignite my lonely heart
Put me on fire
Full fill my desire
My wit is gone
I can’t stay strong
Love gives up everything
Love gives no reason
Love is for the fool who dies
And I am dying
My love for you
It’s killing me…
I am on fire

"Love gives up everything
Love gives no reason"
Love does give up everything to the other but in the giving we recieve so much more in return at least ww should! And as for love giving no reason, Who can say why our heart chooses one over another or any of the why's, how comes, or what for's!
Well done my friend!

Hugs

But fire can also be the very essence of life, Tinka. And your fire for life still burns very brightly.

It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all...not sure who said that but I am guessing they didn't say it while their heart was aching. Nonetheless, we must move on and find a love that wants to give and take love with us; a one-sided romance is destined for failure and another broken heart.
Take care,
Sherry

Douse the flame of love and look elsewhere. This is going no where and will always lead you down a dead end road.
