Empty Place

 

Without you


There is this emptiness

There where there is no light my love

Deep within my heart and soul


Without you


There is no warm blood


To fill my veins


To warm my heart


Without you


I feel so lonely and cold


There are ants in this empty space


Eating away my dreams


Veil expectations clog my vision


When I am alone so alone my love


As I dream of horizons across the sea
And tears of love as I see the beauty of it all
There is no light in this place

Inside this loneliness there is no sun

Without your presence my love!

Nothing can keep me warm
From every window and door

I have searched for warmth today

And I can see the light of love

Surrounding other people hearts
Even the light God had given us
But without you

While you are so far away my love

Beautiful rays of warm sun shine through 
I dream of those horizons across the ocean

Experiencing moments of loneliness
 Even though you are

Right here with me in spirit day and night
And now it’s time to say...I love you!

It’s time to come home

I miss you too much
Dreams are good sometimes

But not this empty place

Without you

Separation anxiety can be worst than lonliness.. a hollowed shell needing the rays of love that only one person can provide. Great write.
