Poem Artwork

For someone special NOT feeling so well!!

“Down”

Down in the dumps

And tired as can be

Emotional tension

Time suspended

Bed bound indeed

Tears not intended

Gathering thoughts of negativity

Down by physical strength

Sulky and teary eyed

Fever high…body weak

Compassion’ seek

Down in the dumps

Covered in heat

No energy to go on

…

…

…

.

.

sleep!!

Wise advise when sickness overcomes. Sleep!
Sometimes that's all you can do...
I hope your friend is better. It seems to be going around all over.
Truly a great write, Tinka

Sleep..... What is.... something highly overrated. It is sad, though, that we allow our lives to wear on our bodies so often.

Great write, Tinka.

This sure describes the way I have felt many times in the past Tinka. The consolation is we all know that eventually this roller coaster called life will bring us back up again, just have to ride it out.
