Poem Artwork

A crown of ravens ‘pon her ‘brow,
majestic in her stance,
regal in the uplifting
of her arms; welcoming
and offering her shelter,
though arms still bare,
to the wings that seek
solace in her bosom.
Outstretched, her branches
reach up, inviting; a
bid to welcome nesting
amid her hair - and not a care
of the weather, nor the
gray skies above, just an
ever loving invitation to
find bield in her home.
This fine lady of majesty
and grace, rises above the
land, yet knows her place
in the balance of universal flow.
And if you look closely, though
her arms be bare...you will still
see warmth and a glow in the air
that surrounds her; laudable
is her wish to share what little
she has, and in the silence
in which she stands - I share
with awe, each and every thought
she has found me worthy to receive.

And this poem tells that. It additonally tells that spirit or love certainly abides the heart, of those often now as well embued, and the tragic ends to meet all who certainly cannot tell, Al
