Quietly He took my heart then opened an empty shell
He settled in mysteriously to fan the flames that dwell
He eases my frustrations and soothes my wrinkled brow
My bouyancy is timeless and He did this too, somehow
The smooth and easy way with Him is dedicated vigilance
His last touch burns as though t'was now...a wonderful experience
He smiles forever in my heart and warms the slightest chill
His whispers dance all over me...He's here inside me still
Then still I wait for His return, this Master of my Soul
This Lord of critical knowledge of whom my rhythm tolls
The lull of magic fingers can ease away all stress
I think, perhaps, its a different love...so intimately blessed
Noncommittal and then not... although His love is pure
It's a timeless gem and rare, indeed, of this I am assured
Each time He whispers to my heart and bids for me to rise
I open once again to Him and stalk His loving eyes
To be so treasured with the time and elegance of trust
For vows once made and still adhered...between my God and us.
HE is our source and destiny. The darkness is only ephemeral, a bad trick of dark spirits. Yet HE shows mercy by allowing us to find Light even in the darkest night.
