Yes! I love fly fishing with the hand tied flies my father made. I even bait my own hook and filet the Rainbows on a nearby rock. You can find me in the mountains of North Georgia during trout season, me and Mother Nature and a #10 trout hook with a huge quiet grin ... with a slight overbite.

A Taste for Trout

The trees whisper silence as the breeze kiss leaves so fine,
And distant creeks a bubble with Rainbow wishes...mine.
For if I had my fly rod and a creel for as to keep...
The wonder of this nature and the beauty of this creek.
The sushi of an artist with the colors of the sky,
To dine upon the richness in God's aquarium, by and by...
I'd sate my thirst for fishing...to feed on nature's gift,
On tastes for ears and eyes and buds that gently shift...
My thoughts upon the clip-clop of hooves upon the rocks,
And gaze upon this regal stag that's come by me to stop.
His eyes of nature locked upon this woman of the earth...
Thank God for joy and wonder...for nature and her worth.
I kiss the thought of tasting trout, good bye, for it is clear...
The best that nature has for now is her beauty and this deer.
My amazement at his stature and the stillness of this creek...
To allow us both to listen to each others' hearts that beat.
We know that we are special for we honor and we trust,
And walk the paths of yesterday in respect for nature must...
Be kept within the boundaries of these heavens here on earth...
We realize the wonderment, us two, for we have birthed,
Understanding within reason...between me, and this here deer...
And we promise through eyes quietly, to keep the peace that's here.
