Love will shine through the darkest night. To my friends and other peers, this will be my last poem for quiet awhile. I will miss you all tremendously, but I have to take care of priorities. Writing poems and interacting with you is so much fun. But, I've got to close down for awhile. Thus I leave you with truth, as close as I can get!
I hide behind a love mask, love has taken me to task. I wonder about this love thing, it has a nice ring, certainly makes my heart and soul sing, but at times does sting. At times I feel like a phony, so slice me up like baloney.
We don't have to hide behind hate, it easily can become our fate. Hate will not hide you, it will surface in colors of sad and blue. Love will put a smile on your face, even hiding behind it becomes an ace.
Self love is the best, learning to love oneself is a task. Learning to love life is harder, with so much evil as a fire starter. Loving others seems like a trip too mars, they'll have you wishing for the stars, or watching for worst scars.
Yet, I hide behind the wisdom of good, love provides a better mood. Putting hate and evil in the trunk, love can give them a slam dunk. The devil will suffocate in time, only to strangle on his own slime.
Love will put a smile on your face, hiding behind it will trip you to outer space. Love was meant to be used, even when we're mixed up and confused, kicked down and abused. Love is lifes champion light, hiding behind it gives might.
So long!
