If you haven't cried
eventually before you die

Maybe a sock in the eye
The laws of gravity say
what goes up
must come down
but what goes down
don't have to come up
A frown on the face
will stay in place
until we learn to laugh
on our own behalf
Happiness is an optional affair
and no one else care
They'll have us crying
with all the bull flying
Very few can laugh it off
then land soft

Plenty of "bull flying", for sure. Something I've had to learn and am still learning--"laughing it off and trying to land soft". Easier as you get older. And yes, if happiness isn't a choice, how you choose to react certainly is. "Learning to Laugh"--stamp that on my forehead, lol.
