The single lonely
aren't confused only
The couple shacking or married
sometimes wish to be back single
They get sick and tired and
wish no longer to mingle
especially after sex loses its tingle
Even merry old St Nick's Christmas
won't be enough of a jingle

jingle all the way
I wish to run away

The single lonely walk around
wishing for a mate
until some fool walk through
their gate
Some jump the gun with
wedding plans
a few months later they become
back to single fans

After years of trying to be
together with someone
many give up done
After suffering awhile with no one
they again look to the rising sun
cause they miss togetherness fun
They try again and fail
then it's back on the run
again confused
and maybe abused
after they've been used
