How does one explain love
Describe love?
To someone who has no heart..
No compassion
No empathy
Just hate..
It would be like
describing the colors
of a rainbow..
to a blind man..
The crimson colors..
the crystal glistening haze..
Or to explain music
to the deaf..
The rise and fall of instruments
in perfect harmony..
Or when a singer sings
from her heart..
her heartfelt song
bringing forth feelings
beyond imagination..
the melody falling
like tears from her tongue..
How do you explain this magic to someone?
I can only think..
To explain love is to compare with hate..
The same emotion in reverse..
But even that does not come close..
You cannot explain love
to a dark empty hole..
It cannot be done..
One would never get past
the emptiness and hate..
I think it is a disability of the soul..
our society helped create.
"How do you explain this magic to someone?" you can't... they must feel it for themselves... well done!

Why waste time describing love to someone who has no heart, no compassion? Isn't this a big waste of time? There are many who look for love and will accept it when offereed. The others who disdain it do not deserve it. Do not cast pearls before swine. Live for yourself and those who want to and will love you. Be victorious and not a victim. Love you. Bill Murray.
Erica a fantastic write you did. Your talent alone should give you an idea of love.We will never know love until we allow it, just as you allowed the hate you are so set on retaining. One must be let go enough in order to at least experience the other.
