A Christian based poem, explaining what Jesus did.

When we read the Bible, what do we learn about Jesus
That He was sent for the salvation of all of us
He taught us by His actions and by His parables too
Now the sharing of His news is up to both me and you

Jesus helped people, asking for their faith and nothing more
This is the key to open life's most important door
For by faith we believe Christ died and rose after three days
Faith is the very reason that each one of us prays

Jesus told them up front, He was here for the sinner
To teach us how to become an eternity winner
He told us of what would happen, if we chose unwisely
How we would be condemned, to Hell, for all eternity

But Jesus wants all of us to rejoice in Heaven
That God can and will forgive us for all of our sin
One day we will stand before Him, yes meet Him face-to-face
On Judgment day, at the proper time in the chosen place

We are to love God with all our heart, mind, body, and soul
Follow His statutes and commandments, for He is in control
Read your Bible and learn everything you truly need to know
Don't just take my word for it, let His words tell you so.
