if we can’t believe
or determine our worth
when we’ve been bathed daily
in an oil infused hostility
then love will only pretend
but never truly
shine upon us

in that haze
of what exactly
is the value
of self-worth
we will chose
a path of pain
and loneliness
oh--such--deep loneliness
such agony,
such things, cannot be expressed
not quite adequately...enough
because to the broken
bodies and hearts
of the self-mutilated minds
is a world of...
please...
let me be insane
because I can’t believe...
we can choose whom we love but can we maintain the level of love we espoused without it degrading it or without detaching ourselves from the one whom we have chosen?
i too, believe life without love is barren and unproductive ... if it is considered insane to believe so, that we should all aspire to be mad ...
a very moving and real piece and i agree, "in a life without love," our inner soul would be broken and our self worth in all that is good would be tainted.

I don't believe we can "choose" whom we love, Sara. We can fall in love and chppse that person for our life's mate, however . . . And, like the old, but true saying, "There is a thin line between love and hate."
Very nice SAra, a world without love is a world without living. Yes love can bring pain and heartache bu it can also bring such rewards that if we do not try we will never feel them.
This book summarizes life's ten toughest tests with ten passwords each to pass these tests. The current overload, speed of change and chaos are all summarized well enough to get to the Land of Simple on the other side quicker than usual.
