Mon Amour Oui

Poem Artwork

It’s been a long time since we spoke
And I have missed you very much.
Know that you never left my thoughts for long
As precious memories of you always made me smile.

At times you sensed my longing for you
And would send off a note.
A brief reminder telling me
I am always in your heart.

In those months that you were gone
We grew so far apart.
Forgetting who we are
To ourselves
And each other.

So now you are the east
And I am the west.
In the center is this bridge
That spans our divergent worlds.

Hesitantly, we test the time worn boards
Built on a foundation
Of darkened pasts.
Creaking under suspicious agendas.

Can we manage to cross
Before time expires?
Will you come to me
…me to you.
Will we instead meet
In the middle.

You are so far
And yet so close.
Mon amour, oui.

The bridge separating the two of you should not be a problem. I'd also go for a meeting in the middle.
Follow your heart. It will show you the right way.

Teasinging imagery. The boundless question, me to him, him to me? Or somewhere in the middle. Very good.

Excellent in imagery. Peaceful and serene. There's nothing like a restful thought to make one relax and enjoy the feeling of love. Lisa

Hope things work out for you Sara!!

I am not running anymore.....I came to a dead end!!

I just need some peace deep within!!

As I asked the Lord above to bring "silence" to my heart!!

Take good care of yourself and your loved ones okay!!
