No one can subsist happily with a broken heart

Poem Artwork

Many people walked in and out
Of my life, but you walked in
And planted the seeds of love
In the garden of my soul, and
Went out with my heart in your
Hand, with those twinkles, as
That of an angels in your eyes, but
Don’t walk fast, tread slowly
For the paths are rough, and there
Are many twists and turns
On this uncertain road called life.
Thus, take care of yourself
Not because, you’re holding
My fragile heart in your hand
But because, if my heart
Falls down from your hand
Your heart too would break apart
And your life would abruptly
Take a different turn, and you
Will never sense happiness
Again in your life, for,
The supreme truth is that
No one can subsist happily
With a broken heart
No one can subsist happily
With a broken heart
