Will you answer the call?
Will you let it slide on by?
Is it an emergency
or another friend hung to dry?

Is there anyone to answer?
This call may be 'the one'.
Are you lonely, missing chatter?
Will you shrug its' importance
thinking only you matter?

Folks call regardless where they are.
Will you accept the call?
The call--for them--will be free.
Even though they bring changes
They lack coins and currency.

The little ring-a-ling is calling.
You could say you weren't home.
They'll just keep on dialing.
Bet they have your number.
until we’re all called to slumber.

Will you answer the call?
