Artistic poetry (my art and verse) pertaining to Jesus, the Lion of Judea. **************

Lion of Judea I’m King of Kings! Hear Me, roar! The beasts of earth come foresworn ... indivisible since born. Few are meek among the wild though they serve Me, each My child. I’m still their main attraction ... as Lion of Judea. I am Lord, Christ, forevermore. Critters, humble, bow down, soar-- accept Gospel over lore. Walk among them without pain ... animals are safer, sane. I know their souls, reactions ... oh, Lion of Judea. On the cross bore pain galore-- within, out--as none before ... raked raw, miserable, worn. Would I forsake animals-- innocent? Humans ... bestial! My LIFE bore crucifixion as Lion of Judea. copyright 2009 Sandra S. Corona
