Obsessed by a fairy tale, we spend our lives searching for a magic door and a lost kingdom of peace. Eugene O'Neill
Fairyland's Midsummer's Ball
A frenzied charade in the shadows Slipping into and out of the night A procession that weaves to and fro In mists beneath the moon lite
Dancing around the oak tree Playing the merriest tune Wild, alive, and so free Howling with glee at the moon
Sparkles of star lite go streaking Like comets to earth as they fall They'll never know that we're sneaking Into Fairyland's Midsummer's ball
Lady A

Quick, folks.... do the "clap, clap, clap, clap"- Peter-Pan thing and shout VERY LOUD "I DO believe in fairies!" That ought to do the trick and revive a few fairy souls!! And you with the Jack Boots instead of the ballet slippers - outa here!! Who do you think you are - Shrek?! Neat, whimsical write Anita - with or without the "Oh dear!" at the end! Yes, metamorphosis in "Breathing Under Water"... a new day - not desperation, I assure you!! Bless you, Tinkerbell(e)!!! Mwah, Kate xx
Hey, are you splatting again, anita? Shame on you, you are getting as bad as nasty old Andy. Before it was gnats; now fairies? What are we to do with you two?
Have to say, though, that I enjoyed this write, and once again, your wonderful quote which I can really relate to.
Prince Charming in a Detroit warehouse? That's nothing! It's the throne that'll throw you! After freeing a ragged Prince Charming, two women discover dreams don't have to be fantasies -- and with enough elbow grease, anyone can create a kingdom.
The third book of the trilogy, The Chronicles of Henry Roach-Dairier, this volume, as with the others, will appeal to both adults and young adults. Readers will experience several levels of meaning from literal to social satire.
