Yeah, when the laughter and weeping, peace and war, sanity and insanity, and life and death become the same, then we know that the circle has stopped - at least for those souls who have loosend their final grip on the circle of life and have fallen asleep.
Makes me think of a spinning dime or a never-ending elipsis... and of the earth spinning on it's tilted axis. While in motion, even our off-kilter is balanced. We gather our energies from went before and hand the baton on to what lies ahead. Great work of words and inspiration as always! xx
I was reminded of Nietzsche's 'eternal recurrence.' 'A loop of illusions', indeed. And if truly so, perhaps WE ARE the 'mortals before.' You packed a great deal to ruminate and discuss in only sixteen lines. Excellent!

I believe this is the best poem I haver ever read insofar as making perfectly clear, in a simplified manner, that old adage . . . "History repeats itself" over and over and . . . Yeah I know that is redundant, but this is my comment . . . LOL . . . VERY well done bit of writing here . . .
