Poem Artwork

I had initially written this poem for a sketch done by an lady artist friend of mine. It was of reclining nude. Very gentle and graceful, but everytime I try to upload it it comes up as a thumbnail....so I found a sub!.

You can only come to the morning through the shadows.....J.R.R. Tolkien

~COME TO MY CHAMBER~

Come to my chamber, with passions laid bare
Inhale deep the mood of love in the air
Follow no path, but the one of desire
No candles to guide us, except for love's fire

Come to my chamber, the door is unlocked
My soul knows your footsteps, the sound of your knock
My heart feels yours beating, my lungs feel your breath
My body is yours, from this moment till death

Come to my chamber, as twlight draws near
Before dreams begin, and I drift....Please appear
Let me know substance, of this spirit, I feel
This image of vapors, my lover surreal

Come to my chamber, now enter my mind
Our souls softly shackled, forever entwined
Finding love in the shadows of a mystical connection
Our bond preordained, a deliberate selection

Come to my chamber, and enter my heart
My body a canvas, for love's work of art
I'll be your creation, my half is your whole
Our story unwritten, yet endlessly told

Come to my chamber, to the woman I am
Enter my wetness, as your strokes flood my damn
Stay with me, through dreams, to the light of new day
My shadowman lover, stay with me, stay..............

I like how you've woven a layer of mystery into this poem. Again, the ending is superb. The way you break up that line feels romantic and enticing. I'm sure he stayed:) lol

Flood my dam, you sensual woman. You have big appetites, huh? That's a good thing. I'm glad you liked Willow and Journey. Yes, that fate is a given. See you later-Jerry- To be precise- dam, not damn.

I HEARD A FREAKIN' ORCHESTRA! Well, lemmie say that this one knocked all over the place...lol! Sensual and tactful how you write about the art of sex. Loved this too. Very well done.

Thanking you,

Anita, you won me at both words and picture! Are you sure you have no Arabic genes; I sniffed some here!
Got my message about Iranians and the picture of "To Decipher This Loveliness"?

"Come to my chamber, the door is unlocked" is my favorite line...promising.
