Accomplishing the impossible means only that the boss will add it to your regular duties. ~Doug Larson

~~THE NATURE OF LABOR~~

I was born to this job, having no choice
Rebellion unthought of, for this wee little voice
But do I get paid, for this labor of love?
I get NOT a penny, nor praise to speak of!!

~~~~~~
From morn to dusk, my chores never end
The winds, and the earth on my efforts depend
I guild the lilies, and paint autumn leaves
While plumping white clouds, as I balance the breeze
~~~~~~
Gently placing dew drops on the grass every morn
By noontime I am SO DARN exhausted and worn!!
And JUST WHO GETS THE CREDIT, for ALL THE WORK, that I do????
That BITCH, MOTHER NATURE in all the worlds view!!

~~~~~~
Ohhhhhh, she's got the nerve! That lady's got brass!!!!!
As she rests on her laurels and sits on silk grass
So if I were to quit, and fly off to the stars
Would things just stand still and not get very far?
~~~~~~
So perhaps I will bust her chops one day soon
And amuse myself, as I watch from the moon
Just to see if the boss, can remember the way
She worked like I do, in those long ago days

~~~~~~
And when I return, who knows what I'll find
Perhaps appreciation.....from my time out of mind Or maybe I'd organize a union for our rights
Local 101, for fairies, pixies, and sprites
~~~~~~~
With benefits, vacations, fair pay and such
We're so behind the times and out of touch
I feel we're entitled.....we just want things fair
We're immortal, a workforce, that will always be there!!!

Cute, cute, cute! I do not have the relationship with the Fairy
community that I have with my angels -- but I do greet them on a
regular basis. Surely you know of the Feindhorn Garden?
Love Vicky

Unionization for fairies, pixies, and sprites. Next thing you know, you spirits will want voting rights, too. Man!
