Nothing lovelier than drinking in the morning with a good hot cup of coffee

“The dew, 'Tis of the tears which stars weep, sweet with joy.” ~Philip James Bailey~ Dew Drops Dew drops in the morning light Shimmer brightly moisture bright Fresh poured coffee steams the air Sitting on the deck in chair Blanket wrapped about my frame Morning birds chirp their refrain Sunbeams enter slowly through Waving trees in mornings dew Light plane passes overhead Seeing earthen blankets spread Squirrels are jumping tree to tree Look at me while chattering Coolness touching my warm skin Sends a shiver deep within Yet so delightful refreshing touch One can never get too much To just enjoy the mornings dawn Peaceful quiet, voices calm Nature at her glory gives Reflecting love our time to live Carolee Dennis-Woosley May 21, 2012

I have a lot of time on my hands and get up very early. These old bones ache sometimes, but I do enjoy sitting quietly outside when I can. This is a beautiful picture what you write Lily.

I do miss ..........."peaceful quiet, voices calm"........
I just low that special time. It's as if you were sharing your solitude,
or aloneness. How wonderfully kewl is that!

Nice and peaceful is this setting, Carol, and you kept it interesting with the coffee (a cup is sitting beside me) and the forever inquisitive squirrels. Sounds just wonderful.
