Who shall it be this whisper
Harkened unto mine window
Carried unto mine ears
Not seen but felt
Whose warm breath bathes me
Sweet musk upon my skin
Fancies only sought
for my dreams unto this night
For no man knows the time
only the heart in which it harkens
for then time proves itself
In saint perfection hearts grow
Purity a glowing existence
nourishing the souls
without malice, spite, nor hate
Reasons beyond sight
For what becomes essential
is invisible to ones eyes

When oneness is found, all physical pleasure become trivial.
Love, happiness, harmony, serenity, completeness, oneness, all is felt by the heart and of so much higher value.
So beautiful and so deep again Carolee sigh.............

In saint perfection hearts grow"
I love those two lines. The rest of the poem is a masterful work of stating the obvious, but stating it with flair as only you can do. And for sure, purity does nourish the soul and a pure heart is the absolute first one to know. This is just a well done piece of work, Carol.
