Hit the Road, No Matter What!

Poem Artwork

As for the straight and even Road,

With time men get distant and far

From it; they simply cut it off

From the west to attach to the east--

All that much of their activities!

It never comes to the merits

Of exercising doing nothing;

Otherwise, it will be great loss

For the sake of a tiny bargain.

All those who made big noise

Without any solid evidence --

Where are they now?

Even though their merits

Were so tremendous, it is obvious

That with strong activity comes

A lot of troubles and calamities.

So what? Will they stop you

On the way to your destination

Of the greatness?!

Many have to make a "big noise" just to survive. A great sadness is a man who struggles for many years to reach a destination he realizes he never wanted. Seems the best journey in life is the one that answers the questions you never thought to ask. Hopeful thoughts, Alexander. r

You reminded me of someone who has made big noise with little evidence. And linking the East to the West seems to be something that makes this poem stand out in describing current events.

Nothing will stop me on the way to my destination. It is the straight path, through and through. John
