Once upon a time ...

I was a Nudnick Novice - in the Choir of -

The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.

At that time, Paul was the Assistant Director.

What little I knew of Music, way back then -

He helped to Enlighten me.

He was also the Director of The Handbell Choir.

Hope he likes this little 'goofy' Tribute!

Sips Tea made of Ginkgo -

As he Sits with his Green Gecko -

The Gecko from Geico -

As they Both play Bingo!

This Old, Old Amigo -

Paul Onc’t Played the Bongo -

When Deep in the Congo -

Wearing Boots made by Dingo -


He said: “Leggo my Eggo” -

While Dancing the Fandango -

With a Guy named ‘El Gato’ -

Who was a Spanish Hidalgo.


His mood was Indigo -

‘Til he ate some Jello -

n’ made some copies at Kinko -

And learned their Lingo.


He likes BLT’s with Mayo -

When swimming in El Nino -

His Direction is oft’ Obbligato -

Especially when Pianissimo!


He is versed in Italian Quatrocento -

And plays drums like Ringo -

At performances, he likes a good Salvo -

Especially when a Hand-Bell piece is a Tempo!


His Family Crest has more than one Umbo -

And he loved the movie - ‘Vertigo’ -

He’s scared of the Canadian Wendigo -

A prefix for phone is Xylo -



He likes to play with his YoYo -

That’s all twenty-six letters - certainly No Zero!
