You hear so much about obsession, stalking, and idolizing fellow human beings. I have to wonder, what causes people to cross the line from curiousity to obsession...just for clarification purposes, this doesn't pertain to me or anyone imparticular. Just my take on people who are fans, groupies, or become obsessed with someone whether they be celebrities or regular folks.

The world revolves around only you With eyes of a hawk I watch all you do Collecting your photos, watching every show Following your itinerary, there's never enough of you to know... I know where you live, your car is so nice I dream of the day you invite me inside Fantasy's abound as day turns to night You are my life long mission, that fuels my desires... Some say I am crazy, some say obsessed Some say get real, some say forget Is it a crime, these yearnings I feel? Am I wasting my time wanting only you? It's sad, it's bad but what can I do?

I admit I have a few collections but nothing compared to a friend of mines who was after her idols chewing gum. It's crazy the things we do. Thanks for this timely write because we do put too much emphasis on another human being making them god-like.
