Black dots on white, clearly flecked
The symmetry of the perfect circle
The lush sound of the whippoorwill
Inside perfection lies surely miracle
Crisp pillows on clean white sheets
Colored blankets with folded pleats
My heart sounding rhythmic beats
A night stroll down lighted streets
A lengthy scroll to identify my feats
Clean laundry hanging down in rows
Hot steam ironed and folded clothes
Christmas gifts tied in colored bows
On my feet, pared and trimmed toes
Revealing a truth that no one knows
The cream white oval of a perfect egg
The aromatic seed of the tree nutmeg
A silky silver line of the intricate web
The unique regularity of the tidal ebb
The dusty age of the attic’s cobweb
Silver cuff links and polished tie clips
A snug leather belt encircling my hips
Lemon juice and honey taken in sips
A lingering kiss on my sensitive lips
Soft silk and velvet on my fingertips
Toy knick-knacks displayed on a shelf
Cotton napkins upon my lap as a help
Bruises that leave no lasting ugly welt
The soft fur that makes up animal pelt
The beauty of snow that will never melt
As neat and tidy as my middle name
Seeking perfection is my claim to fame
Oh to live our lives as a series of clicks
And not as a silly game of pick-up-sticks
Or mere candles burning down on wicks
How harsh to live a life being imperfect
Like a fading flower never to be picked

You certainly have covered personal preference in great detail and in a long laundry list. Methinks that striving for this kind of perfection takes up a lot of the person's precious time every day. And these little idiosyncrasies wouldn't even exist without trial and error and mostly error and failure.
I think that nature is the most perfect. In nature, if something is not perfect and doesn't fit, It does if it survives to the next generation. Hence, all this imperfection has created an ecosystem so diverse and complex that it's almost unfathomable in both its seeming perfection and beauty.
I've enjoyed this piece so much. Perfection is like a happiness which is beyond any touch. On the flip side, when asked the cause of their perfect performances, the director of Dresden Symphony Orchestra joked, saying, We take a couple of Jewish musicians to set the tone ;)) just kidding, too. . . yes, a perfect circle looks like the square.
