The silence will always keep;
Its grand voice never weak.
There in the feathered wings.
Held in reserve as the bird sings.
The soaring eagle will often cry;
The careless wind will often sigh.
The distant church bell has tolled;
Forever fading, evocative and bold.
While sound’s questions expelled;
The breath of silence lovingly held.
Silence has depths sound cannot reach;
Wild storms never ocean depths breech.
Forest murmurs in autumn may not cease;
But never touch the silence of inner peace.
The voice of sorrow can never penetrate;
A strong heart with love to perpetuate.
May lilting silence triumph over sound;
As earth shudders deep in the ground.
I HAVE FOUND THAT TO 'LIFT SILENCE' ONE MUST HEAR THE FOOLISHNESS OF ANOTHER VOICE...TO PERCEIVE THE TREASURE OF OUR OWN 'SILENCE'. 'ALL' THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. LOVE,BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
As good as discourse is, silence is better and shames it. Silence is the fence around wisdom. "May lilting silence triumph over sound" forever and a day. Enjoyed. Peace... r
I am going to share this one with my meditation group. They will love it. I read so much wealth in it and in silence. Thank you for enriching my mornings. Love of friendship,
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
