Behind the curtain of the world

. . . lies a mystery waiting to unfold.

Across the ages of humanity

. . . lies a revelation waiting to be told.

Within the vast reaches of outer space

. . . the galaxies display their awesome grace.

Within the veiled confines of inner space

. . . lies the untold secrets of the human race.

Across the eternal darkness of the deep,

. . . lies the living presence of an infinite universe.

Along the shores of eternity,

. . . float the sands of time our world to traverse.

Inside the corridors of the mind

. . . roam all the thoughts with their rare acumen.

Inside the cavern of the heart

. . . beats all the emotions that make us human.

In the field of the psyche

. . . lies the imagination with its insight.

On the plate of the human soul,

. . . shines the body’s shadow and light.

With the rising and setting of the sun,

. . . lies the progression of time’s arrow.

In the waxing of dawn and the waning of dusk,

. . . lies the sweet song of the sparrow.

We salute the Progenitor, the only One

. . . that has diversity into the universe spun.

We salute the Nameless Spirit that with us confides

. . . beyond the curtain of the world where it resides.

Eh . . . I have for sure investigated the curtains within my sphere of the world. Some were lovely and joyful, some were distasteful and dangerous. These I sit back back and write poems about them sometimes.

Behind that curtain lies endless mysteries. I love your words and the picture, and your nod to God.

In the world of humans there are so many wonders for us to explore and discover. Life is interesting inside and out.

We live in a time when knowledge is accelerating at a rate that scares some but enlightens you and I. We are pulling back the curtains of mystery and finding some wondrous results. We are finding out that what was once considered impossible can become commonplace.

A great poem with a great message.

What we don't know is still greater than what we do know, but we keep pulling that back, for the betterment of mankind. We should never stop learning, and take nothing for granted. Nicely written.
