-- My Mountain, My Way --
By John Herlihy
A mountain stood before me,
There was no other way.
In accepting the challenge,
I set upon my true way.
In making the journey,
I discovered friendship.
In clinging to my hope,
I gathered my courage.
In pursuing my dream,
I found my own reality.
In making the journey,
I discovered friendship.
In finding respect in myself,
I found love among others.
In uncovering knowledge
I could use it in life as wisdom
In seeking the unknown,
I came myself to be known.
In unveiling my mystery,
I bowed to the Greater Mystery.
In reaching the summit,
I was opened to a new vision.
In climbing my mountain,
I finally reached the summit.
A mountain no longer before me,
I had conquered my way.

never stop writing
m
I found love among others."
Isn't that the way it always turns out? Respecting oneself gives the opening which allows would-be strangers to respect (and love) what has been hidden for so long, the wonderful ability to allow ourselves to be loved.
Love ya!
