-- My Life Instead -- John Herlihy Where is the life that late I led, A life drained out as my heart bled? Where is the life I may live instead, The life for which I was truly bred? Where is the life that waits in store, A true life that lies within my core? Where is the life that asks for more, A life that enjoys what I simply adore? Where is the life full of riches and plenty, A life not to leave me feeling empty? Where is the life that will promise bounty, Not a life to simply fade away in memory?
