Two Mirror Poems

-- When Love Ends -- When love ends, We ask a question. Love’s arrow bends, Having lost direction. Love’s bliss departs, How did it disappear? The passion as darts, The pain of a spear. First feelings of hatred, Prelude to the gloom. Nothing left sacred, Sensations of doom. Never felt this before, Despair with no shore. -- When Love Begins -- John Herlihy When love begins, We ask a question. The sad heart grins, No more rejection. Suddenly it arrives, Invited from where? Love’s passion cries, No longer despair. First peeks the bud, Prelude to the bloom. Surging waters flood, With bliss as spume. MY YES...WHAT A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EMOTIONS/FEELINGS OF ONE JUST EMBARKING ON THE HAPPINESS OF A NEW ROMANCE AND ANOTHER ONE WHO IS...SORROWING IN PAIN AND TRYING TO HEAL FROM A LOST ROMANCE. I LIKE THIS ONE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Why does this remind me of a quote I read many years ago? It was made by some Lord So and So to his son: "Love is the star upon which all men gaze. Marriage is the coal hole they fall into."

I am currently watching a television series titled "Revenge," written and brought to life by very talented artists. You seem to have touched on all the themes. And that means you have either lived a very exciting life, or you have fallen in love with the leading lady.
