What do we know of time?

What do we know of space?

The two elements intertwine.

What is time without place?

We know what they are not,

Such knowing the value of gold.

We know they are tied as a knot,

So their mysteries may unfold.

Time made up of seasons,

Frost of winter, summer fire.

The use of persuasive reasons,

Spring rains, fall’s foliage afire.

Space implies a need for journey,

One place always leads to another.

In all weathers fair and stormy,

Time/space exist for each other.

Time and space one and the same,

Neither exists without the other.

Time is but space’s other name,

Each go hand in hand as brother.

Journey in space, journey thru time,

The celestial horizon of earth and sky.

To misjudge these elements a crime,

The answer to the enigma lies on high.

Between these two worlds a bridge,

One world ends, another begins.

This unique experience a privilege,

As wearing outer and inner skins.

What do we know of eternity?

Little beyond time’s other name.

What do we know of infinity?

Little beyond mathematical claim.

The two. then, exist as one,

In multiplicity always unity.

The end result but theory spun,

Such unknowns truly a mystery.

Space and time are never gone,

Always with us, forever there.

Our life experiences to prolong,

Aspects of life we forever share.

All the way into eternity,

The cloak of time we gladly wear.

All the way into infinity.,

The sense of place we gladly share.

Let us be content with time,

Let us be content with space.

Knowing each moment sublime,

While space gives time a face.
