When the flowers bloom,

The bees come uninvited.

Waters run thru the flume,

Streaks of silver fish sighted.

A lovely butterfly alighted,

As I sat quietly in my room.

Never such beauty sighted,

Never before in the gloom.

Peacock fantails open with ease,

As they display colorful plumes.

In the smoke of burning leaves,

We smell rich autumn perfumes.

White swans glide without a care,

Serenity floating thru moonglow.

As those spellbound simply stare,

Such beauty only God may bestow.

A humming-bird fans the breeze,

The song of its feathered wings.

Holding itself stationary at ease,

As the red-chested robin sings.

Hidden away from detection,

In the flesh of an oyster shell.

A pearl strives for perfection,

Mystery never its secret to tell.

When set against stars eternal,

Darkness fills the outer space.

Shining forth, beings immortal,

Angel eyes in the Divine Face.

Crafted design of a spider web,

Silver threads gentle winds assail.

Moonglow to recede and ebb,

A delicate maze sublime yet frail.

Day’s unveiling happens at dawn,

First light doth the night banish.

The kingdom of darkness a pawn,

Sent as a warning, only to vanish.

Crimson rays on the horizon at dusk,

In the blood battle of day and night.

On the wind jasmine and white musk,

An aromatic tribute to the dying light.

Nature never ceases to amaze,

Its beauty ever held in the light

Other senses see thru the haze,

If our gaze be blinded by night.
