What if we were to live in a world

Where the night went on forever?

Our day about to arrive in the world,

Yet our day would arrive never.

What if we were to live in a world

Where the day went on forever?

The night about to arrive in the world,

Yet the night would arrive never.

What if we were to live in a world

Where the winter went on forever?

Spring waiting to arrive in the world,

Yet blessed spring arriving never.

What if we were to live in a world

Where the summer went on forever?

The peace of winter snow waiting,

Yet the winter snow arriving never.

What if we were to live in a world

Where promises were kept forever?

What if we were to live in a world

Where our dreams turn reality never?

What if we could see in this world

The light and the colors as sheer delight.

But none of the sounds could we hear,

An awesome silence left for us to bear.

What if we could taste things of the world

To savor all of life’s delectables so much?

But unable to feel anything in the world,

Never able to be touched, never to touch.

We readily accept all the divine gifts given;

They are there for the taking, nothing to pay.

Life’s bounty and beauty blessings of Heaven,

To journey thru life along a well-designed way.
