-- The Edge of Future and Past -- John Herlihy The edge of the future Lies before us, a mirage. The edge of the past, Darkening petals, a corsage. The edge of the future, Possibility and hope. The edge of the past, A frayed, unravelling rope. The edge of the future, An open, extended plain. The edge of the past Where only memories remain. The edge of the future Lies before us, gleaming. WE ARE ALL PRODUCTS OF OUR PAST WHICH WE CARRY WITH US INTO OUR FUTURE. THE IDEA IS TO TAKE THE PAST, GOOD OR BAD AND USE IT AS A STEPPING STONE IN OUR FUTURE...WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, WHICH STRENGTHENS AND GUIDES US. GOOD MESSAGE! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

As long as we are changing our behavior towards a better future, we will be okay. We tend to be suffering from an overabundance of information, much of it contradictory that we have to think about if we are truly moving towards a better future.

The image, John, lends itself easily to your mirror poem inventions. And the style of this poem seems another variation of the same. I like the back-and-forth motion in this. As I read, I was inspired to write a mirror poem for my wife. With You - Without You. Excellent. Peace.... r
