A wistful thought about meeting someone who may have difficulty arriving at our doorstep.
While I enjoy those very few people that I personally meet these days, I'm finding that Internet contact with those very far away can suffice and even be intimate. I find that when death intervenes, most of those who believe in an afterlife wistfully believe that they will meet an intimate in that afterlife. Soothing in this life, but not necessarily available in some, theoretical, next.
I'm getting all the meeting I need, done before I'm done. And that will be enough for me.
